The Amethyst – February

If you were born in Feburary, many of you may already be well aware that your birthstone is the beautiful Amethyst, which is a variety of Quartz that carries an incredible purple colour that ranges from a blend of deep violet and red to a lighter lilac hue.

It is said that the Amethyst strengthens relationships and gives its wearer courage. There was a time that only royalty could wear the gem. We love that it is a stone of spiritual protection and purification, cleaning one’s energy field of negative influences and attachments, and creating a resonant shield of spiritual light around the body.
